SUP Lesson1,SUPQS, kayak Beginner Lessons 1 & 2 and Social Club all take place at VALLEY MILL CAMP.
Follow the directions on how to get to Valley Mill Camp below. DO NOT USE GPS DEVICES !!!!!! They may take you to the WRONG location.

DIRECTIONS; TO VALLEY MILL CAMP and VALLEY MILL KAYAK SHOP
(location of the Stand Up Paddling Lesson#1, Beginner Lessons #1 and #2, and Social Club)- 15101 Seneca Road Germantown, MD 20874

TO GET TO VALLEY MILL-FROM BETHESDA, DC/VA
From the 495 Beltway, take Exit 39 River Road west towards Potomac MD
Drive west on River Rd. about 12 miles till you come to a stop sign( it will look like River Road ends)
Make a right turn at that stop sign (onto MD-112/Seneca Rd),
Go less than 1mile, Look for the Valley Mill Camp sign on the left
(turn left at second entrance)
Valley Mill KAYAK SHOP is down in the woods 50 yards back behind the main office!

PARK by the main office and WALK down to the kayak shop down the gravel road marked with the orange kayaks, the gravel road to your right(as you’re facing the main office) . Look for the building with the kayak over the door- that's the Kayak Shop, and the meeting place for the SUP #1, SUPQS, kayak Beginner #1 and #2, and Social Club.

TO VALLEY MILL FROM GERMANTOWN AND POINTS NORTH
Take 270S towards Washington DC
Take the MD/Germantown Exit 15B
Merge onto MD 118S/Germantown Rd via Exit 15B towards Germantown
Turn Left onto route 28/Darnestown Rd.
Turn Right onto Seneca Rd
Drive about half a mile
Look for the wooden Valley Mill Camp sign on your right
Enter the lot and park by the main office. Then walk down the gravel road to the right marked by the orange kayak.
The Boat Shop is down in the woods behind the main office(which is nearest to the road)
Look for the kayaks!

PARKING at VALLEY MILL
Please park in one of the gravel lots by the main office and WALK down to the kayak shop down the gravel road marked with the orange kayaks, the gravel road to your right(as you’re facing the main office) . Look for the building with the kayak over the door- that's the Kayak Shop, and the meeting place for the SUP #1, Beginner #1 and #2, and Social Club.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD THAT LEADS TO THE SHOP, OR ON THE SOCCER FIELD

RILEY'S LOCK- Site of Beginner #3, SUP2, and advanced Social Club
From Washington DC and the 495 Capital Beltway
From 495- Take exit 39 to merge onto MD-190 W/River Rd toward Potomac W
Go 12.2 miles on River Rd until you come to a stop sign( It will appear that River Rd ends)
Take a left turn at the stop sign onto River Rd. (extension)
Go 0.7 of a mile and take the first left onto Riley's Lock Rd
Proceed down Riley's Lock Rd until you see a parking area on the left side of the road across from the boat launch area. Look for the Valley Mill Kayak School Trailer and your instructor who will be waiting for you in the parking area. If you reach the dead end on Riley's Lock Rd- you have gone too far.
